    one girly dinosaur

Our dearest friends' daughter celebrated her 3rd birthday last month and knew exactly what she wanted on the invitations . . . a dinosaur.  The birthday girl's mom decided to role with it and came up with the idea of a very girly brontosaurus.  With a punch of pink, a bold chevron stripe and a touch of glitter, we created the perfect invitation for this energetic kiddo.

I have been honored to design all of Maya's birthday invitations - 1st, 2nd & 3rd!  The invitations featured an owl, a caterpillar & this girly dinosaur, respectively.  The best part is that all three characters have worn the same birthday hat!  I need to take photos of all three invitations together . . . such a fun idea!

I should note that my friend, not me, skillfully applied the glitter to each invitation.  It was the perfect finishing touch.

I plan to sell a similar kid's birthday invitation design in my etsy shop soon.  In the meantime, feel free to email me at info@toastandlaurel.com if you want to order a set for your own birthday girl!
