Hello There

Hi, there. I'm Megan Davis, the gal behind Toast & Laurel. My paper goods & design studio is based in Houston, Texas, and I am so lucky to work with incredible clients both locally and across the country. This blog is a bit of a hodgepodge - recipes, family updates, sneak peaks of my projects, and other daily inspirations! Thanks for stopping by.

    wine crates + spring flowers

Over the past few months, I have been working on a custom invitation & event materials suite for Small Steps Nurturing Center's Ultimate Wine Classic.  More on Small Steps, the wonderful event (it was last Thursday) and the designs later.

Today I want to share with you some photos of the flowers I put together for the wine-pairing dinner.  The venue, River Oaks Country Club, is gorgeous on its own, so we only needed a couple arrangements for the registration tables.  This post from Design*Sponge served as a great inspiration.

I had so much fun creating these arrangements (and thank you to the Small Steps supporter that loaned us the beautiful wine crates).  Several of my clients have asked me about flowers in the past, and I may begin offering this on limited event styling projects.

Such a wonderful event for a truly worthy cause!  Find out more about Small Steps here.
