    a little taste of fall . . .

    We finally got some cooler weather here in Houston this weekend and did our best to enjoy every minute of it. On Friday night, two of our good friends (who just celebrated their 1st anniversary) came over for a casual dinner. We ate outside and enjoyed an early taste of the season . . . just ripe pears with manchego. Since the newlyweds were married in Napa, we of course toasted their anniversary with a little bubbly.

    Speaking of our good friends, Joanne & Daniel, you have to check out photos from their wedding! The event was featured HERE on Style Me Pretty a few months ago. Greg and I were lucky enough to be invited to Napa for the weekend festivities and still talk about the wedding to this day. It was incredible.
